We were broke, surviving off canned goods, and had nothing to our names but cigarettes, a fly rod, and a few sleeping bags. We bathed in the Snake River when need be, drank beer for breakfast, and spent our days playing Frisbee, reading thrift store paperbacks, and listening to music.
